BIOPAK Package Wastewater Treatment Plant:

BIOPAK is a container sized compact unit designed for wastewater treatment and encompasses all elements of treatment. Screening, aeration,, clarification and dis-infection. Solutions are configured in combinations of 40 foot and 20 foot container sized plants.
It utilizes a fixed bed active sludge process.
BIOPAK efficiency remains constant at higher flow rates or concentrations because of high bacteria concentrations.
All required equipment, instrumentation and control facilities are contained within the unit and can be incrementally configured to serve growing numbers of users.
BIOPAK provides a low cost solution and has more than 600 installations worldwide.
BIOPAK configurations can serve from 50 to 2500 people.
BIOPAK can be configured with additional filtration to use treated water for irrigation, landscape watering etc.
Additional items that can be included as required include a Plastic Conveyor Screen and Filter Presses for dewatering purposes.
Cold Climate is not an issue as the BIOPAK unit can be installed partially below ground and insulated for cold climates.

Tertiary Filtration System - provides for removal of fine particulates. Two options: Either a simple sand filter system or a membrane or a membrane filter for tertiary filtration. These options provide treatment to a BOD5 level of less than or equal to 10 mg/l and a TSS less than or equal to 10 mg/l. In addition, BIOPAK can be configured with UV disinfection if desired.
