This is a 2250 Acre Master Planned Project located on the Northwest Coast of Costa Rica. and includes the Peninsula’s first Hotel Resort the Four Seasons. The Project at Build – Out will include 2 large scale Resort Complexes, 6 to 8 Boutique Hotel Sites, 2-3 World Class Golf Courses, Beach Clubs, Interpretive Centers, a Marina and 900 Upscale Homes Sites.

GAIA Group is providing Planning, Design and Review Services on Water Related aspects of the Project along with and international team of civil engineers, designers and planners:

These Services have included the following:

Definition of Project Wide Water Demands for Potable and Irrigation Uses	Development of a Water Strategy for the Site that includes use of Treated Water, Salt Water and Fresh Irrigation Water to satisfy the Water Demands of the Project and conserve Aquifer Sourced Supplies	Completion of a Feasibility Review for Off Site Water Sources – included Long Distance Aqueduct, Reservoir Development, Aquifer Wells Sources and Desalinization
Master Planning for Peninsula wide Collection Systems	Master Planning for Peninsula wide Wastewater sheds and Wastewater Treatment Facilities	Technology Review of Wastewater Treatment Options and Development of Recommended Approach
Reviews of on Site Potable and Irrigation Distribution Systems	Definition of Wastewater Environmental Standards for the Project	Review of Green Strategies and Uses
Project Direction/Management of the Designs and Approvals for the Four Seasons Wastewater Treatment Plant (a 145,000 GPD facility) Including Construction Documents	Project Direction/Management of Off Site Water Delivery Systems Design (including Wells, Repump Station and 15 km of Piping) Including Construction Documents	Project Lead on Erosion Control Action Plans for the Site during Construction
Definition of Telemetry Controls and Monitoring Scheme for Wastewater Plants, Pump Stations, Salt Water Delivery, Mixing Lake Management and Off Site Water Delivery System

Definition of Conceptual Strategies for an Integrated Solid Waste Management System for the Peninsula and Waste Volume Estimates
